Local advisory board
Grand Union Village School has a joint Local Advisory Board (LAB) with Moorcroft School. The LAB is a group of parents, staff and community representatives who provide advice and support to help Grand Union Village School achieve its aims.
The LAB is not a legal entity in its own right. Legal accountability for all aspects of the school lies with the Trustees including finance, personnel and premises, and the educational performance of the school.
The LAB is designed to help key stakeholders to get involved in the life of Grand Union Village School and the Trust, contribute to its development and promote the school within the community.
Individual members of the LAB can be invited to be part of a Board of Trustees Committee.
The LAB meets three times a year but LAB members may also set up their own groups to focus on specific areas which might meet more frequently and include regular visits to the school.
